Harmonizing Aedes Invasive Mosquito (AIM) surveillance across Europe, 13-17 Jan 2020

Workshop in Cyprus; Public: Academic; Life science Researchers; Environmental and Public Health Technicians; 30 participants.

This action aimed at establishing a transboundary network of partners and institutions across Europe and to facilitate co-ordinated multidisciplinary research. It identified and filled knowledge gaps, attempted on optimize and harmonize mosquito surveillance and control approaches and raise awareness on the risks caused by Aedes invasive mosquitoes. The 1st AIM-COST Training School was focused on harmonizing AIM surveillance across Europe with the goal to implement a standardized Pan-European monitoring scheme in summer 2020 and beyond.



INSA/CEVDI has participated in this event by the researcher and responsible for the VECTRACK project in INSA/CEVDI Hugo Costa Osório, who presented and discussed the Vectrack project in one to one conversations with the other participants of the event.
