The 22nd conference of ESOVE (European Society for Vector Ecology) was held in Sofia, Bulgary in October of 2022. There multiple presentations and posters were presented, with mosquitoes, ticks and sandflies being the focus of every presentation.
The results of the deployment of the VECTRACK sensor in Madeira Island, Portugal, were presented by INSA-CEVDI in an oral communication (co-created with IRIDEON) to an audience of around 200 people on site and more via online call. Avia-GIS also had a presentation in the conference and participated in several discussions.
There were multiple questions, all properly addressed, and the feedback was greatly positive, with some interest in applying VECTRACK to other countries.
